Walk 80km in July Challenge for Grace Park ETNS


The Walk 80km in July Challenge for GracePark ETNS starts on 1st July 2020 and finishes on 31st July 2020!  There is a 20km walking challenge for the kids.

1. How do I sign up?

To make sure you're ready, complete these 4 simple steps:

  1. Register each adult participant here

  2. See our Go Fund Me page here 

  3. Download your sponsorship form 

  4. Download your tracker sheet

2. How does the Walk 80km in July Challenge work?

The challenge is to walk 80km in the month of July 2020.  You can do this wherever and whenever suits you.  This is a personal challenge.  You do this in your own time and your own way.

3. How does my fundraising efforts help our kids at Grace Park ETNS?

All funds raised in July will help buy essential items like IT equipment (interactive screens, laptops, tablets) and kit out our sensory room for the new school building opening in September.

4. How do I track the distance I’ve done?

Download and fill in the tracker sheet .  Use a fitness app (e.g. MapMyWalk) on your phone or a fitness tracker (e.g. Garmin, Fit Bit, etc). 

5. How do we raise funds?

We have our Go Fund Me page up with a target set of €25,000!  The link is:

6. Can I raise money offline?

Yes!  If you prefer to raise money offline you can use the GPETNS sponsorship card which you can download here 

If I raise money off line (via the sponsorship card) how do I get that money to GPETNS?

Once you have collected your sponsorship you can donate the funds to the Go Fund Me page at

7. How can I encourage people to sponsor me?

  • Tell people what you are doing and why.

  • Email and text the Go Fund Me link regularly during the challenge.  Share it on your social media pages too!

  • Let people know how you are doing – share some pictures of your walks or your distance covered.

  • Use the sponsorship sheet to get donations in person. 

8. How can I share my progress?

We are in this together! We will post regular pictures and updates on our website, GoFundMe page and social media from people taking part.  Please share your pictures and experiences with by email to during the month of July!

9. My family member/friend wants to do the challenge also, how do they do this?

If someone else you know would like to take part in Walk 80km in July Challenge they will also need to follow the same registration steps outlined in the 'How Do I Sign Up' section above.
