Well being week
Dia dhaoibh a chairde! What a week we have had! We have been learning about the importance of well being this week. Each day we have had some wonderful activities planned which centered around the 5 pillars of mental health, connecting, being active, learning, giving and taking notice. Tara, a mother in Claire's class came in to do some mindfulness practice with us, Stevie taught us a new dance, we had lessons outside another day, we have been very giving to each other and tomorrow we will choose a secret friend to look out for during the day to work on "noticing". Conor came in and taught us all about healthy eating, and we even got to try some new fruits and vegetables! Conor was also kind enough to show us some great yoga poses which we did to soft music. What a busy week we have had! We worked on our five finger breathing, magic torch check in and will do some teddy breathing tomorrow! We're looking forward to meeting you all tonight for our information night at 7pm in the conference hall! Slán go fóill a chairde!
