Science week & The gingerbread man

Hi everyone! What a busy few weeks we have had here in the Junior Infants classes! We celebrated science week last week with some great (tasty) experiments! We had great fun hypothesising :)We hypothesised what would happen if you pour warm water into skittles and made some raisins dance!

We also transformed our Supermarket into a bakery as we learn all about the story of the gingerbread man! We had great fun designing gingerbread, making treats in the playdough area for sale in our bakery, playing in our little town for our small world and made some tall museums, bakeries and police stations in our construction area!

We have been learning about Thanksgiving this week and today we spoke about what/who we are thankful for and we agreed gratitude is a wonderful thing :) Have a look at some of the things we are grateful for!
